NUMBER OF EMPLOYED PERSONS IN JULY, 2018 INCREASED 1.5% FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR
The number of employed persons in July 2018 was 66.60 million, an increase of 970 thousand or 1.5% from the previous year.
The number of unemployed persons in July 2018 was 1.72 million, a decrease of 190 thousand or 9.9% from the previous year.
The unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted, was 2.5%.
